The Flexibility Center is excited about our new Yin Yoga Classes.

Yin Yoga is a unique yoga practice designed to focus on the connective tissue in the body while creating suppleness at the core and developing an internal awareness. Yin postures are primarily floor seated postures that are held longer than in other styles of yoga and will greatly assist you in your other yoga practices.

Yin Postures:

  • Gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints by relaxing the muscles around the tissue.
  • Improve overall health, flexibility, joint mobility and range of motion.
  • Stimulate the meridian channels, increasing energy and blood flow.
  • Allow you to sit for longer periods of time in meditation.
  • Please see our updated classes/schedule!
